Travel day - you are on your way!
Welcome to England & Brighton
Rendezvous with the group at London's Heathrow Airport. We will meet our coach transportation for the duration of our trip and head to Brighton. Upon arrival and check-in, enjoy a three-course dinner and a drink at our hotel - The Maldron Hotel Brighton City Center.
Discover the Secrets of Brighton
Let's explore Edwardian 'upstairs-downstairs' life at Preston Manor, followed by a walking tour of Brighton where we will learn the secrets of the Lanes. We'll finish our day with dinner at The Ivy in The Lanes.
Royal Pavilion and Free Time
After starting our day at the Royal Pavilion, you will have the rest of the afternoon to explore Brighton.
In the Steps of Jane Austen
We will bid a fond farewell to The Maldron Hotel Brighton City Center and head to Chawton House - The "Great House" that Jane Austen frequented and was owned by her brother Edward Austen Knight . Lunch will be served at The Greyfriar. That evening, we'll retire at the Audleys Wood Hotel.
Jane Austen's House
Welcome to Jane Austen's House and beautiful grounds. Across the way, we'll luncheon at Cassandras Cup - traditional English Tea Room. After lunch, we will visit The Vyne - a stately manor owned by friends of the Austen family. Dinner will be served at our hotel.
On the Road to Bath
After breakfast, we will say goodbye to the Audleys Wood Hotel and head to Bath. After visiting No. 1 Royal Crescent, we'll enjoy afternoon tea at the Pump Room Restaurant. Later we will check into the Hotel Indigo Bath.
Free Day in Bath
Have fun frolicking around Bath...but don't over do it...we have some really cool things planned for day 9! <see below>
The Romance of Bridgerton
We hope you packed your walking shoes! The first order of business will be a Bridgerton Walking Tour. The second activity of the day will be the Holburne Museum and Gardens. We'll round out the day with dinner at our hotel.
Hampton Court Palace
After breakfast, we'll check out of the Hotel Indigo and bid a fond farewell to Bath to spend the day at the Hampton Court Palace. We'll have lunch at the palace <squee!>, then depart for the Cumberland Hotel in London.
Victoria and Albert Museum
Our morning will be spent exploring the Victoria and Albert Museum followed by a LOVELY afternoon tea at The Swan London!
Tower of London
Take in the crown jewels and gaze upon the world's largest diamond. Of course we will also visit the Beefeaters and the prison where two of King Henry VIII's wives met their unfortunate demise. We'll have our farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
Free Day in London
Need to do some last minute shopping? Maybe want to take in other sites on your own...this is the day for you to maybe visit the Sherlock Holmes Museum at 221B Baker Street, seek out the Ministry of Magic, or wander through Churchill's War Room...there are so many sites to explore on your free day - plan wisely!
Time to Say Good Bye...
After checking out of the Cumberland Hotel, each member of our party will make their way to Heathrow to head home.

​Mobility requirement: You must be able to walk up to 2 miles per day (in total) at a reasonable pace to keep up with the group (1.5 miles per hour).
